I call this work [constant-ly] as it is the furthering of the piece [constant], which was exhibited in 2018. The soundscape is created by contact microphone recording the felt tip pen, while being used for drawing. The audio is engraved and cut onto a 10” vinyl which is then cased in a plexiglas folder. The 10” can be played on a turntable and you will hear the drawing.
Every piece is a a combination of three unique drawings, on either side of the plexiglass and one on the soundless side of the 10” vinyl.
And as the 10″ vinyl is playable, one just removes the vinyl from the casing and onto the turntable and you can hear the work.
This work is a co-operation between me and the wonderful people at multis
